HOUSTON, TX (August 24, 2009) – Dresser Inc. an international leader in the design and manufacture of process control and safety relief valve solutions under the brand names Dresser Masoneilan and Dresser Consolidated, has expanded its already extensive global footprint with the opening of a state-of-the-art Export Oriented Unit (“EOU”) in Coimbatore, India. The EOU will provide Dresser with another manufacturing option for Dresser’s Masoneilan® and Consolidated® products, in addition to Dresser’s established manufacturing facilities in the United States, Mexico, Brazil, France, Italy, Japan and China.
The EOU, officially known as Dresser Valve India Pvt. Ltd. (“DVI”), joins Dresser’s already well established network in the Asia Pacific region, including manufacturing facilities in Japan and China, sales offices and purchasing offices throughout the region, and a global outsourcing center in India.
