Dresser Consolidated and Dresser Masoneilan Announce Release of ValvKeep Asset Management Tool in China
Customized Database Simplifies Valve Management and Maintenance Site-wide, and Helps to Reduce Costs and Increase Uptime
HOUSTON (April 22, 2010) – Dresser Consolidated® and Dresser Masoneilan® today announced that ValvKeep®, the premier, customizable valve maintenance and management tool for aftermarket service, is now available in Mandarin.
ValvKeep enables customers to keep a database of the service and repair histories of control valves, pressure relief valves and other equipment, regardless of manufacturer. The ValvKeep database includes complete valve operation and maintenance history, valve photos illustrating required parts and recommended maintenance schedules. The proprietary software is available through Dresser Consolidated Green Tag® Centers and Masoneilan Authorized Repair Centers (MARC®).
“Our industry-leading global network of aftermarket service and support facilities provide a comprehensive suite of tools to help keep valves operating at peak performance,” said Gary Ostrowski, global director of product management – aftermarket for Flow Technologies Segment of Dresser Inc. “This expansion of ValvKeep will allow a greater number of our global customers to simplify valve management, maintenance processes, and helps to reduce costs and increase uptime through the many features the software offers.”
The ValvKeep software keeps a history of customer assets, helps with future maintenance planning and creates predictive maintenance “to-do lists” while communicating seamlessly with other systems. The VK-Viewer enables customers to view valve data centrally and securely from any PC, offering a complete view of their data history and allowing them to monitor repair progress, review pictures and tests, and see future maintenance reviews. ValvKeep is available exclusively through Dresser Consolidated and Dresser Masoneilan.
